Asbestos Safety Class
During this 4-hour class attendees will obtain the knowledge and training as required when asbestos is present at a jobsite or workplace. OSHA Regulations and training as required per 1926.1101 Health hazards of asbestos and common symptoms Employer Responsibilities Hazard Assessment Medical Surveillance Medical Removal Provisions Recordkeeping Exposure Reduction and Employee Protection Engineering Controls Housekeeping and Personal Hygiene Protective Clothing and Equipment Respiratory Protection Employee Information and Training OSHA regulates asbestos exposure for the following activities: Demolishing or salvaging structures where asbestos is present. Removing or encapsulating asbestos-containing material (ACM) Constructing, altering, repairing, maintaining, or renovating asbestos-containing structures or substrates Installing asbestos-containing products Cleaning up asbestos spills/emergencies Transporting, disposing, storing, containing, and housekeeping involving asbestos or asbestos-containing products on a construction site Permissible exposure limit for asbestos This class can be scheduled at your convenience and your location.
