If you keep your ear to the industry floor at all, you are certainly aware that OSHA has been deliberating a new standard for Cranes & Derricks in Construction for some time now.  In 2002, C-DAC (Cranes & Derricks Advisory Committee) was formed to evaluate the existing standard and to provide further clarification and/or guidance in the use of cranes & derricks on construction sites.
